Winterisation
As you start planning your Christmas shutdown, don’t forget to prepare your compressed air system too.
Drain any condensate to prevent it from freezing. Adjust louvers to minimise cold air entering the compressor inlet so it can reach operating temperature more quickly. This helps ensure proper lubrication and reduces moisture formation in the oil circuit.
Consider using cabinet or ambient heaters to pre-heat the system and keep lubricants warm.
