Atlas Copco GA55VSD+ Overhaul Service

An Atlas Copco GA55VSD+ overhaul service D as part of our customers fixed price Guardian service agreement with extended warranty.

This is an unusual oil-cooled variable speed drive (VSD) permanent magnet motor which can be seen on the below. The vertical drive arrangement has no gears or drive coupling which means it reduces inefficiencies and increases air delivery.

The service is very comprehensive including an exchange compression element (air-end) and motor overhaul, requiring a specialist set of tooling and high level of engineering skills.
