OPERATIONAL SPECIFICATIONS

A booster is a compressor for which the inlet pressure and inlet flow are linked with the outlet pressure and outlet flow. Selection of the booster is based on the required outlet flow and pressure.

  • Oil-level switch: The compressor is switched off automatically when the oil level is too This option is only available as factory mounted option.
  • Inlet filters (DD, PD and QD)
    • DD filter is a general purpose The filter traps solid particles down to 1 micron with a maximum oil carry-over of 0.5 mg/m3.
    • High-efficiency filter, type PD (optional), may be installed downstream of a DD This filter traps solid particles down to 0.01 micron with maximum oil carry-over of 0.01 mg/m3. If oil vapors and odors are undesirable, install a QD type filter (active carbon) downstream of the PD filter.
