General Description


AQ has the most innovative oil free technology, water injected screw, because our customers cannot afford to compromise on quality. Setting the standard for air purity through ISO 8573- 1 CLASS 0 certification, the AQ 15-30 VSD range is available in Water-cooled and Air-cooled versions, Pack and Full Feature offering high-pressure capability 13 bar(e)) and improved energy efficiency thanks to the superior cooling capability of water that ensures that the heat is removed efficiently at the source. Removing the wasted energy that heat represents gives more air per kW of power. The low temperatures of the compressed air reduces the stress on components ensuring long life. The models offered in this range are AQ 15 VSD, AQ 18 VSD, AQ 22 VSD and AQ 30 VSD air-cooled & water-cooled.


Operating Principle






Control and regulation system

  1. The air is drawn through the inlet filter (1) to the inlet valve (2). The new AQ range has a vacuum controlled
  2. At the heart of the new AQ, there is the water-injected screw element (12) producing highly efficient near isothermal compression. The polymer ceramic rotors with their optimized rotor profile are supported by water-lubricated bearings, ensuring that no oil contaminates the compression element, thereby producing pure oil-free
  3. Stainless steel water separator vessel (13) is in charge of separation air-water via centrifugal and gravity forces. The minimum pressure valve (4) assures the air pressure in the customer
  4. Filtering the water in the lubrication circuit, the water filter ensures a constant supply of clean lubricant (7)
  5. Incorporating a water-water exchanger (8), water cooled units provide a virtually continuous water temperature and low pressure
  6. Using distilled water or reverse osmosis water for the water injection, the built in reverse osmosis system (filters (9) and storage tank (10))ensures a constant supply of high quality water, avoiding corrosion &bacteria growth

The air section is an air compressor including air-end, drive, lubrication, cooling, control, regulation systems and an integrated refrigerant dryer. All enclosed in an attractive noise suppression steel canopy.
